Margret and H.A. Rey may be most famous as the creators of Curious George, but they had a knack for creating charming, timeless animal characters. From Germany to Brazil, and from Paris to New York City, they became celebrated children’s books authors whose stories continue to capture hearts and imaginations. Pretzel and Pretzel and the Puppies, introduced to the world in 1944 and 1946, are part of their great literary legacy.
